Purpose

Ensures dialogue with local, state and federal elected officials. Creates a forum for Chamber members with an interest in legislative action supporting their businesses. This committee recommends a slate of legislative priorities to the Board of Directors who vote in support of an annual legislative agenda reflecting the membership.  The committee plans monthly Legislative Briefings with State and Federal Representatives and co-sponsors the Eggs and Issues Breakfast with Legislators and the State of the Schools luncheon.

  • Meets the second Tuesday of the month, 4:00 PM
  • Time commitment: Attending one-hour meeting monthly & as needed for other projects throughout the year
  • Committee is open to join year-round
