Purpose

Ambassadors help promote the Chamber, support chamber functions and work to retain and build membership. Projecting a positive image, assisting with volunteer roles at events, and reaching out to retain members along with recruiting new members are among the primary activities of an Ambassador. 

Examples of Ambassador tasks include:

  • Calling or visiting with new and prospective members
  • Inviting members to events
  • Greeting attendees at events
  • Table hosts at luncheons

Details

  • Meets second Tuesday of the month, 9:00 AM
  • Time commitment- Attend one-hour monthly meeting, approximately 3 hours attending events per month, approximately 3 hours calling and follow-ups with current/prospective members per month
  • Committee is open to join year-round
