New Mask Requirements for Public Spaces in Eastern Jackson County Recovery Plan Phase 2.5
The Jackson County Health Department has released Phase 2.5 of the Recovery Plan with updated guidance on mandatory mask usage in public spaces, and an increase in crowd gathering size. Phase 2.5 goes into effect July 1.

5 STEPS OF PREPARING FOR BUSINESS REOPENING
1. Build a COVID-19 Plan
Write down your plan of action. Call it you Covid-19 Safety Plan and continue to re-evaluate as necessary. Things to include: Materials needed checklist, new protocols, safety procedures, social distancing, and marketing.
2. Respect Social Distaning
Consider implementing procedures you’ve seen other businesses use already (i.e. marking where to stand in line, maximum capacity signage, barriers to counters, etc.) Begin gathering necessary supplies and signage for accommodations.
3. Create a Cleaning Schedule
Consumers will notice if your business is clean, organized and safe. Rebuild your cleaning plan gather necessary items to execute the plan. Be sure your staff is aware of new procedures. Build in inspection times and checklist for quality control.
4. Market Your. COVID-19 Plan
As businesses re-open, consumers will look for locations who have clearly marketed their COVID-19 Safety Plan. When you begin to market you’re back open, follow-up with you plans and protocols.
5. Respect. the Process
This process of re-opening will constantly adjust as our leaders evaluate the current environment. Cater your plans to the cautious. The faster we adhere to safety protocols, the faster we all will get back to business as usual.
